>> We both loved this 2-part talk by Tara Brach (which is also available as a podcast).Tara is one of our favourite teachers and we love her way of looking at the world. So calming to listen to before bed.

>> I (Gabby) bought this beautiful herbal book a couple of years ago and recently re-discovered it on my shelf. It’s without doubt the most beautiful book I own and is an incredible introduction to intuition and connecting with plants.

>> Enjoying the recent women’s health series on the Superfeast Podcast - so much wisdom and information about hormones, female cycles and pregnancy. Particularly love the episodes with Susan Weed and Dr Jolene Brighten.

>> This blogpost on our role as Earth healers.

>> Loving this song from Nick Mulvey.

>> Joe’s sister Kizzie illustrated this amazing ethical fashion Map of Brighton in collaboration with Revival Collective. Go download the map and have a look!

>> We made an enormous batch of sauerkraut last month (including a few new flavours) and have been enjoying it with pretty much every meal. Our tummies are happy!

>> Being called to work with the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra at the moment. This article goes into it’s roots and meaning.

We hope everyone is having a beautiful week. We’re currently back in the UK, after we both unfortunately became really ill in India. After three really difficult weeks trying to recover from severe food poisoning, we had to surrender to the fact that we needed to go home. That this was more than just delhi belly and could be something quite serious. Our bodies were calling out to us in pain and we needed to listen. So we’re home for now….and we’re ok with that despite the disappointment. These past few weeks have brought us some huge lessons in patience & acceptance. We’re so grateful to be feeling better everyday. Our bodies got so so drained during those three weeks, so we’re resting and loading up on healing foods & remedies.

We wanted to start a new series on our blog sharing what’s inspiring us every week. I love reading these kind of posts on other blogs and getting recommendations for podcasts, books etc. We hope you enjoy it! We’d love to hear what you’ve been loving recently too, let us know in the comments or on Instagram.

>> This podcast on compassion (& part 2) has been SUCH medicine for me the last few days.

>> As part of our mission to heal right now, we’re drinking celery juice on an empty stomach each morning. This book by Anthony Williams is pretty mind blowing, and celery juice is his no.1 tip for healing from viruses, digestive problems & chronic illnesses. We’re on day 7 and feeling like it’s really helping us.

>>Yoga Nidra has been our saviour during some difficult times this year. This is our favourite audio to follow. If you’ve never tried it, yoga nidra is a restorative, guided meditation that is often referred to as yogic sleep. It’s so blissful and calming!

>> This podcast interview with Wim Hof is a really interesting & inspiring listen.

>>This album, this woman.

>> Loved this article on trusting the body’s ability to heal itself, and how sometimes our quest for health leads to excess.

>> During these cold and rainy days we’re keeping hydrated with lots of teas, herbal infusions and hot cacao drinks with medicinal mushrooms to boost our immunity.

Herbalism & Spirituality
Medicine Stories A wonderful podcast by the herbalist Amber Magnolia Hill. The conversations on this podcast are so potent and inspiring!
The Mojo Mecca -   Chloe is such a beautiful, authentic soul and this really shines through all the conversations on her podcast. Diving into everything from ritual, poetry and plants, I've been inspired by every interview and guest.
The Flower Lounge - This is podcast is created by the owner of the Flower Essence brand Lotus Wei. I love the way the conversations flow and there are some really beautiful and informative episodes.
The Herb Nerd - Discussions about alternative health, herbal remedies, ayurveda, shamanism and more.
Love and Liberation - A beautiful podcast by herbalist Olivia Clementine.
Dream Freedom Beauty - Some really interesting episodes with healers, herbalists and generally inspiring people. I loved the episode 'The Bee Priestess, Ariella Daly  on Shamanic Dreaming with Bees' ... so interesting!
Starseed Survival Guide - This is a new discovery of mine but have learnt a lot from this podcast already. I definitely recommend the episode with Paola Garcia about ceremonial cacao.
Forage Botanicals - Made by herbalist Natasha Richardson (who has great online content!), every episode of this podcast focuses on a different herb as Natasha interviews herbalist friends. Nettle is one of my favourite herbs, so I naturally loved the episode on Nettles!
Your Own Magic - The hosts of this podcast have such a dreamy looking life - living in Kauai, Hawaii and interviewing inspirational people for their podcasts. Some great episodes on life lessons, meditation & health.

Wellness and Health:
The Rich Roll Podcast - This is such a popular podcast, and it's easy to see why. Rich is a great interviewer with some truly inspiring guests. Covering wellness, spirituality, happiness and so much more.
The Life Stylist - Another excellent wellness podcast with some really interesting guests on such a wide range of topics.
Wanderlust Speakeasy - This series is a recording of live lecture talks from yoga teachers, authors, musicians and just generally very inspiring people at Wanderlust yoga festivals.
Almost 30 - I found this through the blog Free + Native and am enjoying it so far. I definitely recommend the episodes with Tero Isokauppila and Lacy Phillips.
The Balanced Blonde / Soul on Fire - As a fan of her blog, I was super happy to find out Jordan now has a podcast too! Again, covering some really interesting episodes about nutrition, holistic health and more.

Shamanism and Plant Medicine
Psychedelic Salon - As well as a great archive of Terrence McKenna talks (an advocate for use of psychedelic plants and an amazing speaker), this also has great episodes about different areas of psychedelic research.

Entheo Nation - Lots of really interesting episodes about plant medicine, traditions and spirituality.

General Inspiration and Life Wisdom!

Expanded Podcast by Free + Native - I’ve completed a few of Lacy’s online workshops and they have been so healing for me. This podcast focuses on expanding our subconscious through it’s interviews with really inspiring guests. My favourite so far has been Ep.7 with Maggie Harrison from Puakai.
On Being - I love this podcast, the range of guests is great and it covers really powerful topics effecting our current society.
The School of Greatness with Lewis Howes   - During some of these episodes I've had to stop to grab a notebook and write down bits of wisdom! The episode with the poet Rupi Kaur is definitely one to download.
Rising Women Leaders    - Some beautiful, insightful interviews with some incredible women from all walks of life
Ladies who Lead -Another inspirational one for the ladies. I recommend episode 69 ' The wisdom of our feminine cycles' - such important knowledge for us to discover!
